The former Vice-President of Nigeria Alhaji Atiku Abubakar said in a recent interview that if the President, Good-luck Jonathan wants to conduct a "National Conference", he should have done that immediately after his swearing-in in 2011. He said ," President Jonathan can not conduct the National Election and the National Conference simultaneously........................."Many Nigerians were happy when President Good-luck Jonathan expressed His interest to conduct the " National Conference" but many very 'notable' Nigerians have expressed strong pessimism about the motive behind the National Conference and the ability of the President to conduct a Credible Confab.
Is this one of the Political Statements we should disregard or are there some elements of truth in this Statement???? Only Time can tell .
