WE ARE NOT POLITICALLY MATURED ENOUGH FOR STATE POLICE ---------- POLICE CHIEF (I.G ABUBAKAR)

After the Senate's advocacy for the creation of State Police,I took time to ruminate on the possibility of this plan working out. As a result, i remembered an interview I read in "NEWS OF THE PEOPLE MAGAZINE (JULY 2013) EDITION" where the Inspector General of Police was interviewed.
Talking about the creation of State Police ,he said "we are not ripe enough for it,by the time we are ripe for state police,we would have been more politically matured for tolerance."
He further illustrated  " I was in a state as a commissioner of police and a sitting governor would tell me ,'I don't want this person in my state' but I don't have the power under the law to tell someone not to enter  a state. Assuming I was employed by the governor of the state,I would have to take the instruction or be fired"
Now,the senate and the Police Chief have completely different views of the "State Police"
The Senate want to carry out an experiment while the Police chief says the result of the experiment is error and error again  (considering the environmental factor ) even before the experiment begin.
Should the experiment still be carried out considering the Inspector General's opinion...??

Who has a better view, who should we follow??

As for me ,I believe the Creation of State Police has it merits and demerits but the fact that the Creation of State police will also create (good) job opportunity for a very large number of Nigerian youth, that make it more accepted .........

Even the "Federal Police" follow orders from above.
 NIGERIA!!!!!!!!
